Todd and I met at church a long time ago. After the third time he asked me out I thought I better say yes. The rest is history. We married on May 18, 1996 and have two beautiful kids, and two dogs.
Walker was born in India in Feb. of 2002. He came home to be with us in Aug. of 2003. He is a delightful boy and our dream come true. He brings joy to all he meets and he can light up a room with his smile. He has a great sense of humor, like his dad and LOVES slap stick. He is in the first grade and loves school. Walker is a great kid and is sensitive to the needs around him. He loves dogs and can tell you a lot about many different kinds of dogs and what they do.
Hannah is our daughter who was born 12 weeks early. She is a spunky little girl who does not let a lot slow her down. She loves princesses and anything pink! She laughs at just about anything and if she is in the right mood will sing to her hearts content! She is in preschool and is looking forward to going to kindergarten next year. This is something she says just about every week. We are proud of how she overcomes her medical issues and how she keeps the doctors on their toes!
Todd continues to work at RTD doing finance. (No he does not drive a bus!) He loves baseball and continues to blog about the Rockies although sometimes I don’t know why. He is an AWANA director for Truth in Training at church and has recently become involved with the Friends of the Library and Museum here in Littleton. He is a great dad and loves to spend time with his family.
I am a busy mom. Outside of running the kids around, I work for the SPD Foundation coordinating parents and taking emails helping people find support and services in their state. I teach piano and still sing with the Cherry Creek Chorale. I love the journey our life has taken. It has been hard but we have become involved with organizations we would never have even known. I love meeting parents at The Children’s Hospital in Denver and helping them navigate our all confusing system here in Colorado. I look forward to sharing our life with you and hope that you find some humor in it and maybe some hope!
